Knitting 'Perching birds' - September 2024

Recently I made a universal knitting pattern for knitting a stereotypical bird. I didn't look at facts like having a long tail or not. And therefore also not with the body proportions of different species.
For determining the colors, I was inspired by a number of beautiful birds that really exist. Which one did you get from me? Scroll through the list below. Next to each photo are the name of the bird and some links to websites with more information about the species.
